Michael was my christian name given during my primary school time. It was given by my good friend’s grandmother during my primary school, his name was “Mark” so his grandmother name me “Michael” with both starts with the letter “M”.
Due to the reason most of the people can’t pronounce my chinese name correctly. In chinese my name was written as “许灿文”, in english where Han Yu Ping Ying used, so it became Xu Canwen, people will mistaken as “Can”, some even pronounce it as Can’t. Thats how i got my christian name Michael.
From then on i will let people call me “Michael” which is much easier to be called.
I started Photography since secondary school, when i first taught by my secondary school teachers, later on when one of my teacher whose husband was a Professional Photography, she called him to come to our school to teach us during his free time and weekends. From them on i picked up Photography slowly.
I was into Event & Wedding Shoot back then and now i’m learning Portrait with a group of photographers. Thanks to Harry for organizing all these outdoor shoots.
